“To this day, we still don’t have an explanation as to how that object disappeared.”So said Frank Kimbler during our interview with him at the Roswell UFO Festival, in which he discussed his ongoing research on geological analysis of artifacts from the Roswell crash. According to Kimbler, when he sent a significant Roswell artifact that he believed might have been extraterrestrial material to a university lab, the envelope was still sealed, but the evidence was gone. Watch him tell the full, mysterious story below:
He recalled others’ speculation that some amorphous “they” (“we don’t know who ‘they’ is, government, anybody. I love the ‘they’ part”) could have used “ultrasonics” in order to open the package, take the evidence, and seal the package again. He clarified, “I don’t know whether that’s true or not, but it just adds to the mystery of Roswell.”
When asked if, according to his best guess, he would say the government was responsible for the theft, he said, “There’s [sic] only two powers that maybe have the technology to make things disappear like that, one of them being our government, which includes the military, and the other one is being [sic] corporations.”
However, Kimbler is not your run of the mill UFO conspiracy theorist. Preaching an approach of good science, Kimbler is only ready to declare something as ‘interesting’ once tests have been run and he’s seen the results with his own eyes. He is, after all, a scientist first and a Roswell researcher second. Adding to this refreshing approach is his rejection of the all-too-frequent and flimsy claims that certain artifacts are ‘alien’ in nature, despite a complete lack of testing being carried out it.
He also offered his opinion on extraterrestrial life in general: “To believe that we’re the only persons here in the universe, forget it, there’s other things in the universe besides us”
